From beginning to end, it was a pleasure to do business with Fred and the team at Rickman Heat. It started with a comprehensive and detailed survey of the house, followed by the preparation of fully costed proposals, which were readily amended as we discussed the details of the installation of both the pump and the battery. The precise siting of the pump was a crucial element and was sensitively and creatively managed to fit in with our concerns about the impact on our view of the garden from the back of the house. We went away on holiday to allow free access to the whole house during the installation. Fred kept in touch with us with updates on progress and photos as well. When we returned, we were delighted with the skilful way Fred and his team had installed a substantial amount of kit in a relatively confined space in our bathroom and replaced most of the radiators throughout the house. The care the team took and the attention to detail were really impressive and much appreciated. The installation was completed and commissioned on schedule. Over the summer, we only used the pump for heating water, so it's been great to find that, now that it's autumn, it keeps the house warm and at a constant comfortable temperature. We've found that the change away from the inefficient ups and downs of radiator heat under the old gas boiler system to lower, steady temperatures works really well.
